About me…
I’m the Cataloging Manager at a public library in southwestern Indiana. I supervise 7 employees and manage the cataloging and processing areas of my Technical Services Department. I work on special projects, travel to ALA and IUG conferences, am a member of the Dewey Decimal Classification Editorial Policy Committee and serve on numerous ALA and OCLC committees. All of this generates tons of paperwork and professional reading, much of which I struggle to keep up with. I also love to read nonfiction and tend to collect everything from papers to websites, blogs, and, of course, books. If somebody wants some archival piece of information, I’m sure to have it buried in my email, paper piles or the back of my mind. I never throw away anything…
